ON A STAR YOU’LL MAKE A WISH

Evening’s clarity is worth it, you just do it right by all,

Any wishes? Reinforce it, then relax and play your role.

Don’t believe the ill-intended, don’t give in to their resolve.

Their dependence on your answer, will become their downfall.

You are moving forward swiftly, you don’t need to roll the dice,

Your denial of reflection doesn’t keep you from the lies.

But it keeps the evil spirits, the onlookers, and the lost,

From attaching to your story or forgetting who’s the boss.

And it keeps you moving forward, never mind the cost and scars,

Changing colors, moods and spirits, always healing through these bars.

Unexpected little stories lost in efforts, act ‘as if’,

Got me thinking, even worried, even hoping, so naïve.

Walked through desert, wasn’t thirsty, played in snow, wasn’t cold.

Was a peasant, ill and nasty, flew with crows, story told.

Outcome of every effort is phenomenal, at least,

You don’t offer good intentions, you become a wild beast.

‘Overwhelming’ and ‘too much’ is the same to feel and touch,

Don’t fixate on pesky changes, don’t become your own lunch.

Feed your knowledge, grow your wisdom, understand the high and low.

Guide yourself by intuition sourced in love and never war.

Nothing changes, not for better, only scars begin to hurt,

Dial down to the letter, filter actions and retort.

Try it now, so delish, on a star you’ll make a wish.
