Every smile has a price
Every smile has a price. I’m not talking about money,
Give me pollo and some rice, I will even call you honey.
I can never be enticed, I would rather go tanning,
I’ll forever say it twice, life is not about winning.
I will never quote Sun Tzu, I ignore the looming dangers.
Most importantly, don’t lose your intangibles and tangents.
You consist of what you are, take away the pesky pieces,
And your life is a mirage, while you think that it’s
delicious.
The reality of struggle, the absurdity of dreaming,
The mentality of losing, and along it always sinning.
Yes, you’d rather just be winning, you would rather be on
top,
But entitlement is leaning you towards a new workshop.
You are certain you will do it, you just know you’ll be
fine,
You will pay the price and manage your emotions on a dime.
You will trade a 1 for 0, cause you’d rather be a 9,
You are meant to be a hero, so you visit Palestine.
You grow up and what was clear has become somewhat obscure,
Hiding deep in your veneer, slightly weakened with no cure.
Overthinking, estimating, formulating gift of gab,
Rising, sinking, simply mating, who’s been sitting on your
lap?
Have a vision see so clear, what is meant to be, will be,
Shake your head and shed a tear and remember being free.
Wind down, take a moment, it’s a lot, perhaps too much,
Let your presence be your weapon, find power in a touch.
